My best friend's blog

So I am still completely new to this. And I kinda enjoy it, but it's also another thing to put on my to-do list.
Today I stopped by my best good friend in the whole world's house, Mary Beth. We drank coffee, played with our boys, talked about stuff we needed to do, and how she started a new blog!

There it is! My new motivation for the week! She is going to post new things, I am going to post new things, and then we will read each other's stuff. hahahaha
We doubt anybody else will be concerned with our adventures, but I know I will enjoy reading what she has to say. She is such a GREAT writer! Ask Darin! =-)

My little man is turning a year old this month. I know this quote is overdone...but seriously..."where has the time gone?"
I see other cute little pregnant ladies and it seems like a lifetime ago that I was in their shoes. Really it was just last summer and I was complaining non-stop everyday about the heat.

So here is the newest picture I have of Aven, thanks to Angela Michelle photography. If you would like to get more information about this incredible new photographer, please drop me a line and I would love to give you more information. I am now her biggest fan.

Also check out the MomTog's blog. If you love photography as much as I do, you will love this photographer mom as well.

"A boy's story is the best ever told." -- Charles Dickens

I am a new mother that has the huge blessing of being able to work part-time and spend the rest of my days watching my son grow. And boy does he grow fast! In the blink of an eye (and all you mothers know what I'm talking about) he is already 6 months old. Where does the time go? If I could freeze any moment in time, it would be this one. Getting to stay home with my son, watching the snow fall out the window, seeing his eyes light up when I sneak into his nursery in the morning, watching him try to roll over. These moments are priceless, and they are whizzing by me. I wouldn't trade them for any sort of career right now.

I recently bought a Nikon 3000 to try and capture these moments before they're gone and I'm only getting frustrated! Not only that, I am worrying Sarah Strader to death with fbook messages on how clueless I am (thanks for your patience!)

My friend Erica started a blog on Jan. 1st for her new years resolution...and I'm finally getting around to making one of my own . Her resolution was to live life to the fullest and not miss out on any opportunity that may present itself to her. My resolution is to document every waking moment of my son's life. I hope with my second child, I'm not as neurotic. =-)
